What Do You Think About Electric Dirt Bikes?

The 2010 Zero X electric dirt bike is ready for demo rides. The Zero X Sport and Zero X Extreme have an upgraded suspension and powertrain, make hardly any noise, and emit no pollution. Although I haven’t tried one yet, I wonder if it is similar to an electric car. Yeah, they are an alternative to fuel but performance wise, they simply can not compete with a gas engine. After viewing the video in the article below, I am not convinced that these electric bikes are as equally enjoyable as my Xtreme 007- 125cc Pit Bike that comes equiped with an 4-Stroke; Single Cylinder Bore & Stroke 52.4 x 49.5mm engine. This Xtreme pit bike is on sale for $899.00 this month. Did you see the price on the Zero X ? $7,000-$9,000 dollars…….gulp.
